Ji Yiguang is currently an associate professor of English in the Department of College Foreign Languages Teaching of Nanjing Audit University. He holds a MA in Literature of Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering 1993. Throughout his nearly 40-year teaching career, he has been a middle school English teacher, a professional interpreter and translator, a head of teaching department and a college English teacher till now.

He authored the textbook Essential English, which shows how people in banking sector read and speak English. He also translated a professional book from English into Chinese in the field of audit – Performance Audit: Contributing to Accountability in Democratic Government. He has also authored numerous articles and essays that have been published in journals such as China Daily, Chinese Translation, Chinese Science and Technology Translation, Shanghai Science and Technology Translation, Law Book Review, and Legal Language and Translation.
In 1999, he was awarded a silver medal for Gardner Prize of Institutions of Higher Learning of Jiangsu Province.
